I was wondering how to fix this. When setting up Windows, I mistakenly added my backup drive multiple times to my personal folder and I don't know how to fix it. I use the E drive for backup, and the F drive for all my libraries. I don't think it's hurting anything, but it bugs me. What can i do? Here's a screenshot so you can see what I mean.

Favorites are simply the bookmark menu used by IE. Right-click and use the DELETE option; just delete two of the three. Confirm Yes delete the shortcut.

For libraries it is "Remove location from library" rather than delete.

Could you go into Windows explorer and put
%homepath%\Favorites
into the path bar.

Is the E: drive listed there 3 times? And can you right-click and delete?

Could you paste a screenshot from that view?

No drives listed there, just folders. The only time I see them is when I go into my system folder. Here's a screenshot of my favorites folder. It got put into my backup drive, oddly enough. I have all my libraries in the F drive and stuff gets put into the E drive.

OK I was a bit confused because Favorites was highlighted in the left pane. So drop the Favorites and just use %homepath% and see if the E:backup drives are there and can you delete them when listed that way.

It sounds like your library pointers may have gotten quite FUBARed when you moved them from the C: drive. When you are in %homepath% check the properties of each library type and verify the location tab says F: not E:

I don't know what to tell you. Personally I deleted the Favorites section completely from Windows Explorer. As I said I suspect it's something to do with you having moved folders. You might try moving your person folder again and see what happens or you might try a complete reinstall but I have no more ideas, sorry.

No problem...it's not really causing any problems, I was just wondering WTF happened more than anything. Thanks for giving it a shot.
