I bought a new computer today with Window 7 Home Premium. When I was asked which bit I wanted, I ended up with 32 bit when I wanted 64 bit, My problem is the computer has not come with a hard copy so I don't know how to do a re-install.

Your best option would be to go back to the store and ask to swap the 32 bit DVD for a 64 bit one - you can then do a fresh install which won't take too long :)

Sorry, I didn't end up with 32 at the store. When I turned the computer on at home, I was
given the choice and will I was researching on my old computer, it went ahead and set up as 32 bit.

I have fixed the problem. Win 7 was hiding in a secret partition. All I had to do was re-install and choose the 64 bit option. I have now made a backup copy of it and put away in case!
