Any1 know how to install icons?

Im wondering if anyone knows how to install icons..
ive got build 7000, and i saw on the windows7 centre website that some of the icons in build 7048 are changed, i downloaded the file from there, but they didnt tell me how i could change the icons.. can any1 please help? that would be appreciated =]

If you want to change an icon file for an application, extract the .ico files somewhere and then right click on the application name and select properties > shurtcut > change icon. Then, browse to the .ico file you wish to use and click OK.

You should now be using the new icon

To do that you'll need to use a resource editor tool, the tool below has a free trial which should let you change a few icons before it runs out:
