WLM Startup in w7

When I start Windows Live Mail the installer starts, then shows error message 1909 (couldn't find destination folder) - ok - followed by another error message 2902 (installation package problem)-ok - and it then repeats both error message numbers and finally the installer runs and the program opens.

This is when you are trying to install WLM? Right-click on the installer and choose "run as administrator". Let us know if that works.

No! WLM is installed and works OK except that at each startup eg from a s/c it goes through the rigmarole of repeated error messages and reinstalling actually starting.

I did do as you asked nevertheless and opened and made sure I was running as administrator

I would suggest you uninstall and then reinstall, running the installation as an Administrator as I described above.
