Is there a way to remove the additional updates from the update panel/area itself?

Alternative is to right click the ones you do NOT want, and hide them

I was refering to the optional updates. Once you get them, in this case all the language pak updates, to remove them from the updates list. I think that attachment hit the nail on the head there. Thanks big D.

JK! I messed with Ultimate in RC version in 2009 and just did the right-click and hide feature mentioned by davehc.
