I fitted a new MOBO,GIGABYTE GA-Z270-HD3, CPU i7 and 16 gigs of DDR4 RAM.
O/S WIN 7/64 Home premium.
I click on shutdown and everything turns off except the MOBO and all the fans are still working; if I leave it for awhile, the PC reboots.
I had this problem with an ASUS mobo years, can't remember what the problem was.
Any Ideas??
TIA.

Best guess, look at your BIOS settings for sleep state

I had a look in BIOS settings for sleep state; none found.

I was using an ASUS video card; I removed it and now using the onboard video.
