Hey, my friend's computer doesn't boot. He didn't do anything, he has very important files and photos in the PC and it doesn't start up. It's an error 0xc00000e9, but there's no USB or anything plugged in to the computer, how can we fix it? Or how can we make a backup of certain files without turning on windows? Any help would be VERY appreciated. Thank you.

To fix a Windows 7 boot issue with a blue screen:

Safe Mode: Try booting into Safe Mode by pressing F8 at startup.
Last Known Good Configuration: Choose Last Known Good Configuration from the F8 menu.
Startup Repair: Boot from a Windows 7 installation disk, select Repair your computer, then run Startup Repair.
CHKDSK: Run chkdsk /f /r from Command Prompt in the System Recovery Options.
System Restore: Use System Restore to revert to a previous working state.
Reinstall Windows: As a last resort, reinstall Windows if nothing else works.
