Will Printer and Scanner work on Windowa 7 Premium 64 bit

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum.

My question is :

1) I bought a new Gateway Desktop PC with Windows 7 premium installed 64 bit.

2) I have HP 1018 Laser Printer and a HP 7400 Scanner

3) Will the Printer and Scanner work on Windows 7 ??

I also puchased a program ( PC Tune Up) recommended by the seller, he said it will install drivers for the Printer and Scanner.to work on 7>

Hope someone can give me good news that the Printer and Scanner will work..

Easiest way to see if the devices work is to plug them in and try them. You could also go to HP's website and see if they list drivers for Win7, if not you can try vista drivers for the devices as they often work.

Programs that claim to "Tune up" your computer are generally not recommended by most regulars here on the forums as they can sometimes create more issues then they claim to fix.

You got hoodwinked on the PC Tune-Up software. The salesperson sold you something you don't really need, and he got a little bit more commission on his paycheck.

Go here for the HP LaserJet 1018 Printer Drivers Select the right one for your operating system, either 32-bit or 64-bit.

Go here for the HP OfficeJet 7400 Drivers. I assumed you wanted 64-bit. If not you can find the 32-bit there too.The software and driver is quite big, over 350 MB download size!
