I have a Windows 7 home premium 64 bit disk. I want to install this on my Acer E700 which is running Vista 32 bit. I have checked the processor and it is OK to run 64 bit. Can I clean install this in the normal way or do I have to do anything else?

It would be a clean install but it would be a good idea to visit the Acer site and download the 64bit W7 drivers for the E700. At the very least download the drivers for network connectivity (LAN driver if you have a wired connection or wi-fi drivers if you use wireless).
...and of course you have to have an unused (or transferable full version) product key to activate your copy of W7 Home Prem
