Uploading picture problems

I use Webshots to post pictures for friends and family. Since I upgraded to
Win 7, I haven't been able to do that, I have had to use my Win XP machine.
I just assumed it was a problem with the Webshots software. Today I tried
uploading some photos to Facebook, and discovered that I couldn't upload to
it either, but I could from the XP machine. Does anyone know if there are
some settings I need to change to be able to do this? On Webshots I get
"Error: updater module is not found, try again later. On Facebook I just
get the generic "page not found, check for connection problems" error. TIA

So, are you using IE or a functional browser?

I don't have trouble downloading anything. I always have to give it
permission to download, but uploaded doesn't give me any options, it just
doesn't work.
