I am using Build 7000 and will be listing all the programs I normally use.
I will write on here if they work or not.
Hope this will be useful.
Feel free to add anything.

Daemon Tools Lite 4.30.3, compatibility Issues but run program. Installs the SPTD and asks you to reboot windows as it normally does. But after reboot, it dont carry on installing Daemon Tools, but starts the SPTD install again. And again after reboot.

CA Security Centre 4.0.0.192, installed fine.
CA Anti-Virus 9.0.0.174, scanned my computer with out any program errors.
CA Anti-Spyware 10.0.0.210, ran the program and it displayed "Error scanning registry! [17] Couldn't determine OS version", "Error scanning cookies!" and "Error scanning common locations!"
CA Anti-Spam 6.0.1.33, is working fine so far.
CA Website Inspector 1.0.0.79, no problems as yet
CA Personal Firewall, Parental Controls and Desktop DNA Migrator, I don't use, so didn't install.

Adobe Acrobat in CS4 works, but does not make a PDF Print Device as it should (on W7x64 anyway). Other Adobe CS4 apps Photoshop and Dreamweaver are fine.

Good Idea MBUK1975

I'm also using build 7000 (installed a week ago on a brand new hard drive) I have a Vista installation on a separate hard drive.

Used vistabootpro to organise dual booting - works
Used synctoy 2 to co-ordinate folders between the two systems - works quite well but Kaspersky 2009 screws up the Vista side.
Installed:
Avira Premium Security Suite - one small hiccup but is now working well. (Much smoother than Kaspersky and PCPro magazines A-list recommendation)
Office 2007 - Enterprise edition - works really well. OneNote works beautifully
New version of Google Earth - seems fine
Paperport 11 - works well
Windows Mobile Device Centre - to co-ordinate my HTC TYII phone and the pc - works better than it did in Vista
All hardware drivers worked (Canon Scanner, HP Printer)
RealTek audio manager took a bit of sorting out but now works well
Didn't use adobe reader - hate the bloated program! instead I'm using PDF-Viewer which does a good job and installed with no problems
Jack Bridge v4.01 - this minority user program installed easily
Various other speciality programs used with no hitch

This OS seems very stable and so far has not fallen over, I've used all the desktop versions of Windows (excluding server versions) and this is a good one I think!
