No jump list on start menu

I cant seem to get the jump list on my start menu when hovering over the word icon or getting started icon, etc. I do see the arrow next to the icons but nothing shows up. they however, appear on the taskbar without problems.
Yes i have enabled this function in the start menu properties
I'm running win7 x64. thanks for any help

So is that screenshot from your system, or just as an example?? In that screenshot the Word jumplist is showing up as it is supposed to.
