What would be the reason for a me to be unable to move chess pieces. The clock completely stops and I need to reboot computer. Would it be a software problem (windows 7) disk cleanup, virus, swap, ect. Would it be a playchess problem (not keeping the two of us together) or would it be a dsl problem not keeping a internet connection and any way to tell. Thanks.

I would download the freeware program "Process Explorer" to monitor your CPU from one window while trying this "playchess" in another. In a third window you might also monitor transmissions coming and going with "TCPview". Both freeware utilities are available from Microsoft HERE.

I would also check with the manufacturer of playchess to see if there are any patches or at least known compatibility issues w/ W7.
