Anyone know any? Special themes or third party add-ons, or tweaks? I'm hungry for this stuff.
Especially maybe one that makes it so certain programs don't run in the "Windows 7 Basic" theme? It's slow as heck and all the cool stuff like Aero is disabled! HALP!

PS. By the way, thats "reg. hacks" for those of you who don't speak lolcat.

I'm interested in any reg hacks you can find too! There was a member called reghakr which I guess would know lots about this sort of stuff, but he's not been online for a while.

The only hack I know of is how to force Aero on a slower PC:

Enable Aero in Windows 7 with Registry Hack

1. Click on Start and type regedit at run
2. Now Navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM
​

3. In the right details pane, create following Three DWORD (32-bit value) entry
UseMachineCheck, and set its value to 0.
Blur, and set its value to 0.
Animations, and set its value to 0.
4. Close Regedit
5. Click on Start and type CMD with administrative Priviliges
6. Now type following command
Net Stop uxsms
Net Start uxsms
