installing Windows 7 with product key - but computer has no disks

HI there I have been given a HP touchscreen computer but the windows 7 was preinstalled(no disks) and I want to reinstall windows7 OS to start afresh. How can I reinstall windows 7 as the product keys say they are invalid because the computer was preinstalled.

Any help would be great.

There may be a recovery drive which would normally allow you to restore to factory settings but more commonly the computer owner was told to burn recovery disks within first 30 days and you would need those disks. Recovery disks can also be ordered from HP but they can be somewhat pricey.

Unfortunately those are your options for an OEM license.
