Games for Windows - Live Problems

Hey I just installed Games for Windows-live on my PC in order to redeem a code I received for a game that came with my new G-card. I try troubleshooting and there seems to be nothing wrong. The install finished with zero problems and I have even unistalled and reinstalled the program and rebooted my computer.

Does anyone know if this is a universal problem or what?

Normally it just needs updating so try the above and see how you go..
