SOLVED Crash city!

Windows 7 Professional (as well as its predecessor Windows 7 Home Premium) keeps giving me the BSOD--various times. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to them. The machine is an ASUS CM1740 64 bit.

So, what follows is the memory dump readout. I, of course, cannot interpret this. Can you help? The machine continues to crash at varying moments. Nothing seems to be consistent to my outside eyes.--I elminated a lot of page reps.

You attached a zipped .txt file, not an actual W7 .DMP file from C:\Windows\Minidump\

Something's off, all I get is the same gibberish. Follow these instructions to add a minidump.

In the meantime, if you're using McAfee, try removing it. A large number of BSODs we see here are due to people using McAfee.

I think the zip file is attached. I have had trouble using your directions with the page I see displayed.

A Dump file has the file extension .DMP not .TXT.
You are zipping up Text files.

We need the actual DMP files from C:\Windows\Minidump
Copy them to a folder under My documents and then zip up that folder and attach that zip.

adpu320.sys
adpahci.sys
arc.sys

I suggest you go to the Asus Support website and just start updating all your drivers. ASUS CM1740

Then if you added a video card, sound card, usb peripherals then go to the manufacturers websites for those products and update those as well.

Do all that and then if crashes continue post new DMPs.

Even before you start updating, it's a good idea to run a virus scan, as viruses are often hidden as real driver names. See best way I know HERE.
