I noticed my core automatically updated today from Ver 2.17 to Ver 2.19. I was under the impression that I would periodically need to update my core manually. I am very pleased that they now have automatic updating (atleast with SMP2, I can't speak for all the clients).

If you find that your client has shut down due to an outdated client and will not auto update. Rename your client folder so you can, download the client again and start over from the very same folder you have been working from. This will keep from breaking any links that you may have created such as shortcuts and configuring the client to run as a service. Also if you copy your old 'client.cfg' to the fresh client, you will not need to setup the configuration settings again.

Man, I'd love to get one of those jobs where 500,000 steps are involved. The largest one I got was 2500. I suppose it has to do with your computer's capabilities. I just today completed my 10th job. The one that I'm on is only 250 steps. Oh well, every little bit adds up.:)
