cannot uninstall Java Runtime Environment 6

In Windows 7 64 bit, cannot uninstall Java Runtime Environment 6.
I'm using JavaRa 2.0 which stops with an error and says:

Error 1723: There is a problem with this Windows installer package. A
DLL required for this install to complete could not be run.

What to do to get rid of JRE 6?

Thanks, Jeff

solved:

There actually is no jre6 folder anymore on my PC. Only jre7.
I must have deleted or uninstalled jre6 in the past.

JavaRa and/or the windows installer thinks jre6 is still there and tries
to uninstall it and of course cannot do so because it is not there to
uninstall.

(Found the solution on the web).

Control Panel > Programs and Features > uninstall.

I don't think JavaRA is up to date.
