Back Up Option

I recently updraded to Windows 7 and found alot of software were deleted or not availible. One of these woulde be the back up option that was present until the upgrade, I currently have a Dell 546. Suggestions?

Windows 7 offers a "Backup and Restore" option. However, it is best to do the backup to an external hard drive.

A lot of users are finding that they have had issues when doing the upgrade install versus a clean install. Would it be feasible for you to do a clean install?

You might find some stuff in C:/Windows.old but a new install is recommended for Windows 7.
