A Question About USB Drivers

Hey guys. I recently upgraded my computer. My new motherboard is Asus Prime A320M-K. After the upgrade, I tried to install Windows 7. The installation was completed successfully; there weren't any problems. But after the first reset, something strange happened. Windows 7 didn't recognize my USB mouse. In fact, all the USB ports were disabled. I think this has something to do with USB 3.0 drivers. Is there a way for me to have W7 detect the new motherboard's USB ports? What drivers should I install? Thank you.

Do you see any errors or problems on your USB controller in Device Manager?

It could be as simple as installing the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard:

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-A320M-K/HelpDesk_Download/ (select your OS version, then look for the chipset driver link).

edit: Is it only your mouse that doesn't work (i.e. is your USB keyboard ok?). If so, it could be a problem with the mouse.
