Windows7 restarts after shutting down

After shutting down Windows 7 64 bit, the computer re-starts. It usually shuts down after it has restarted. Please could any advise how I can restore the computer to shutting normally?

First of all Update all the drivers.

If issue still exists then restore the registry settings.. Read this thread.

If issue is not resolved then:
Changed the Power Management settings in the BIOS to:

• Disable power on from PCI devices
• Disable power on from LAN

Hope issue is fixed.

I agree. I had the same problem before, I restored the registry settings and it worked.
