Windows Mail in W7 - need registry changes again

When I installed W7 on my laptop, I also moved my Windows Mail to it. I was
provided with 2 patches to make it run correctly. I applied the 1st one,
but not the 2nd (I don't remember why). Does anyone have the link to those
patches so I can download them again. I think they made changes to the
registry. TIA, Paul

The best think I ever did with Windows Mail was to abandon it. I used
Outlook Express for ten years, but it took only a week or two for me to
abandon Windows Mail in disgust. WTF was Microsoft thinking, anyhow?

Thunderbird makes a usable mail client, and without all of the problems
that WLM introduced. If you are a heavy usenet user, xnews works much
better than WLM or Thunderbird.

There is one called wminstall.exe
It can be found on Pierre Torris webpage.
a french language site.

With instructions on how to install WindowsMail
on Win7. They probably exist in english on
other web sites. Try a Google search.

WMinstall.exe works with any language version.

Unfortunately, I could not find the english language equivalent to
Pierre Torris's instructions for installing Windows Mail in Win7.
