Windows homeserver 2011

I am constructing a Windows Homeserver 2011 and I want to put an
antivirus on it.

I thought that Microsoft Security Essentials would be suitable but it
appears that MSE will not install according to the various forums I
visited today.

Does anyone have any ideas what antivirus would work on this homeserver.

For that matter do I need an antivirus at all.

There are some suggestions here.

I presume you've already done your homework on the WHS part.

It was a serious question as this seems to be the approach on many
forums I visited.
I want an antivirus on my server but could not find one that would run
on WHS2011
I have seen what viruses can do and it is not pretty.
Thanks for your help.

The WHS ClamAV seems to be worth a try.
I really thought that MSE would have been made to work by Microsoft it
seems not
Cause in the case of a server they (and most AV makers) want you to buy
their commercial product. In the case of Microsoft it is Forefront.
