Windows Task manager is stuck showing network activity only.
No menus and no means on its window to close it or change the display.
I’ve rebooted Windows 7...no help

You probably have it in mini-mode. Double click just inside the
window border and see if this doesn't bring everything back.

That's not the worst thing about WLM 2011, though.

The worst thing?
In the newsreader that lack of an indent to separate replies.

Please remove all of Windows Live 2011 and install Windows Live 2009:
http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/...entials-messenger-version-2009-for-windows-7/

Alternatively; please stop posting. Windows Live 2011 is worse than posting
HTML.

Sid9 incorrectly posts into this newsgroup using HTML format. Unless
the newsgroup accepts HTML posts (few do), ALWAYS post using plain-text
format. Sid9 doesn't know or has yet to figure out how to properly
configure his deficient newsreader.

Sid9 can't even figure out how to add his reply text. This is his 2nd
post where he merely duplicates the parent post to which he replies
without adding anything of his own for comment.

The space wasted on the menu icons is awful.
The HTML vs. Plain text is correctable.
The lack of an indent is not.
I don’t like Windows live 2011....I’m trying Microplanet Gravity 3.04
We’ll see.

Oh it's there, it's just hidden because it's below the sig delimiter
which a proper newsreader either strips off or ignores.

I never had a problem until my new Windows 7 machine ditched OE and
installed WLM 2011.

Got any suggestions?

My query is about the lack of an indent that delimits my post from the
previous postings.

Perhaps you'll be able to read this/

No it's a broken newsreader. Well you could simply uninstall WLM 2011
and then download and install WLM 2009. It too has some problems, but
it's a lot better than 2011! You can get WLM 2009 here:

http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/...entials-messenger-version-2009-for-windows-7/

If you do this then you won't have to worry about moving your email and
newsgroups to a new program since it will use the WLM 2011 files.

Or you could use an entirely different program like Thunderbird, Forte
Agent, Xnews, or any number of other newsreaders. Just do a Google
search for Usenet newsreaders and you'll find plenty to choose from.
Download a few and try them out till you find one that you're
comfortable with.

Uninstall your version, then get the older version that Roy linked to. It
won't strip sigs (you can do that manually when you reply to a post), but at
least it will insert quote attributes, and you won't lose any of your
previous mail.

Thank you for your concern.
I had replied a day or two ago indicating that the response here was
effective.
Perhaps that message came up blank and appears to be a repeat request, it
was not.
I have now reverted to Window Live mail 2009 as my newsreader since the 2011
version seems to have some serious flaws.

I thank all those that helped.
