Hi,

I am trying remote into windows XP from windows 7 and I am not able to remote in.

I tried with pinging windows xp machine and no ouput from windows 7

I stopped all McAfee services and Windows Firewall services to ensure nothing blocking from both side. Still same issue.

Actually windows XP and Windows 7 is in the same network.

Please advise how to resolve this issue.

Windows XP - 192.168.0.101
Windows 7 - 192.168.0.100

I tried to ping windows 7 machine from windows XP and its pinging but not other way around.

Are they in a workgroup or domain? How are they physically connected? I know this is obvious but you made sure remote settings were enabled on both machines?

Try making sure NetBIOS is enabled on both PCs.
