Windows 7 installation disc

Hi all,

how can I create an installation disc? and if I do that ... and if I completly unistall windows and I would have nothing in my computer ... can I again install windows from this disc?

Yes. If you have the Win 7 ISO file, you can burn it into a bootable installation DVD.

The Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool link to Microsoft is broken. Don't know why.
If you must, use another website. Just google for it.

Yes. That's what an installation DVD is for, provided you also have the valid product key for the corresponding Win 7 version. i.e. Win 7 Home Premium product key for Win 7 Home Premium, etc.

First, it is critical that you have your valid W7 Product key because you will need it to reactivate Windows. It may be on a sticker located on your computer but if not then it needs to be extracted from the registry BEFORE you format or reinstall.

As for creating a DVD, simply download the W7 SP1 ISO that matches your product key and then burn it to a blank DVD with software such as IMGBurn.
