SOLVED windows 7 incomplete?

With my new 64 bit computer I have a Windows 7 that has only 6 games and seems to be missing other bits, like a video library or whatever, that everybody else has. What is happening?

Now I an answering my own question. I find that I have Windows 7 Home Basic, a version brought out for emerging countries, cheaper and with less things installed e.g. all the things I thought I was missing.
