Hi all
I have a problem
I don't have the original discs and I can see the backup 20gb partition with the OEM install backup of W7 but cannot get it to activate, I have tried F8, F11, ALT-F10 etc no luck!!
I am attempting to reinstall w7 home Prem using USB ( I have tried DVD same issue)
It is installing very very very slowly over 12 Hours!
currently at 85% on Expanding Windows files
the machine is a PB Laptop Easynote TK87
Its not stalled just very slow
I'm a bit flummoxed!
:(

Check your hard drive for bad sectors. If the hard drive is failing the system may have to constantly rewrite the same files over and over trying to locate good sectors. It's quite possible your hard drive needs replaced.
