System volume information

Defraggler found 28 occurrence of this file with about 500 fragments,
The size of the files are 45MB down to about 0.5MB. I believe these
files are related to System Restore Points and perhaps other items.
They are not found in Windows Explorer with a search.

Evidently Defraggler won't clear these out nor can info be found with
google search -- found one website demanding payment.

Is there a way to get rid of some of this accumulation which evidently
goes far back in time? Using Win7 Pro,64bit.

Correct.

Do not worry about it, it will have no effect on your system.

You can remove some of the older restore points using CCleaner, or, if you
want, remove all but the most recent one. I use CCleaner myself, and have
had no ill affects. You can reduce the number of them being created by
reducing the amount of space allocated to SR.
