Upgrading, downgrading, I've done everything short of using hacked unofficial drivers. I've rearranged video cards, checked temps. Video's not overclocked on my system, so I haven't done anything in that regard. I figure I don't need to overclock if I'm getting good output on the newest games, the old addage, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
My latest attempt at a fix is just uninstalling AVG and going with MS security essentials. This was also recommended to me by one of my instructors, I just hadn't gotten around to it until just now.
