sleep mode settings

Hi guys

I have a Windows 7 pc and I was wandering if someone could help me with the setting for sleep mode?

I would like to share my movies using plex across my network which are on a desktop hard drive while my pc is in sleep mode. The hard drive has it own power but only turns on when the usb is connected. I'm not sure what settings I should have and so would really appreciate any help given.
