I am having difficulty retrieving and using my Backup files from my NAS drive. Windows 7 Pro will easily save onto the NAS (DLink DNS-321), but using Windows Backup utility I cannot access the drive. There is no browse feature to browse network drives, so you have to enter the address manually.

Trying to add NAS drivers isn't working and I keep getting this message "The network name cannot be found (0x80070043)" I really would prefer to use Windows Backup as apposed to Acronis and such.

What am I doing wrong? This has frustrated me for hours now. Any help would be very much appreciated.

In Windows Explorer. Tools. Try Map Network Drive.

I believe if you can map it with full access then you will be able to write to it. If it is mapped then perhaps check your permissions?
