Recent Update Error 6BB

Recent Windows update (Win7x64-SP1) gives error 6BB. The update is for:
Security Update for Microsoft Office OneNote 2007 (KB2596857). Repeatedly get same error. Has anyone seen this besides me? Thanks

The answer below is a reply to error 6BB while installing updates for MS Office 2010. I know you have MS 2007.
However, ALL the troubleshooting methods are universal and applicable to you.....

Tried the troubleshooter and the system update readiness tool; no change. I will continue working on the other options. Thanks
