Thanks for that! I've got:

AMD Radeon 6900 Graphics card
Intel i7 CPU
Gigabyte G1.Guerrilla Motherboard
6Gb DDR3 RAM (not sure what brand, if it matters do you know how I find out?)

Dumb question from me I'm afraid, how do I update my Motherboard chipset driver and Video driver?

Thanks for your time!

Maybe the best thing is to download and install AMD's auto driver detect.
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/auto_detect.aspx

Give that a go.

Also, if you want to capture the active window, use ALT + Prnt Scrn buttons.
And you should be able to attach the .jpg file to the forum.
Click the "Advanced" button. Then scroll down a bit to "Manage Attachments".

Hope this helps.

I downloaded that programme and it came up with a pop up saying I've got the latest driver, but I had had a little play and dowloaded what looked like the most up to date version, so maybe things will be different now. I'll have a mess around on my machine today and see if anything triggers another BSOD.

Thanks very much for all your help so far!!!!

Heya! Although it took a lot longer then it did yesterday (so I recon installing that motherboard chip driver upgrade probably helped) I still got a bluescreen just now, I've uploaded the latest file, any chance you can see what caused it?

Also the timestamp for my graphics driver is still the 6th of April, I'm guessing that must be the most up to date version available, or at least that's what it tells me when I used the AMD auto driver detect tool

Please remove Gigabyte Easy Tune 6.

Try to uninstall it. It might uninstall. But try anyway.

Download Autoruns (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902)

Run it as Administrator
When it is finished, Click on the "Drivers" tab.
See if gdrv.sys is listed.
If it is, then uncheck the box on the left.
Close Autoruns and reboot.

Hope this helps

Thanks for sticking with this, I've done everything you said and I'll let you know if it works! I finished the day on 15 BSOD yesterday, I'm this close to taking a hammer to the damn thing!

Let us know how you go. If there is still problems, please upload the mini dumps.

Keep with it, it might be frustrating, but you are learning at the same time.

Oh I'm happy to stick with this as long as it takes. I wasted a lot of money to upgrade my pc in March and it's not worked a single day since I did it :(

Just got another BS, I've popped the attachment if you have the time to take a look.

Well, it was pretty much a new PC, the only parts I used from my old machine were the CD drive and hard drive. I've burnt that programme you suggested to a CD and I'm gonna run that later today when I go out as it says it takes a few hours, I'll let you know what it comes back with! I've also popped that screenie you asked for

Heya, ok I ran the memtest thing for 4 and a half hours, it did 6 full cycles and found no errors :( Any ideas where I go from here?

I'm taking my RAM out now and replacing it with another set to see if that makes any difference

EDIT: Are you able to remove Catalyst Control centre? If it uninstalls the video drivers, then if you have to re-install, ONLY install the driver nothing else.

Have you done an offline virus scan?
