Other way of removing shortcut arrows..?

than UWT? I have the 2.2 version & after a recent update the arrows are back & the option to remove them in UWT is greyed out.

Since the Ultimate Windows Tweaker is from the Windows Club you may have a better chance of getting a solution if you post your question there.

Or you might try a different tool that was created for Vista but is said to work in Win 7 too ...

FWIW, I use Vista Shortcut Overlay Remover (x64 version from Frameworkx.com) mentioned above by TrainableMan on my Win7x64 systems. Works fine.
