I want to enable WiFi, but there is no icon on the Network Connections page of the Control Panel. All I see is a box with this info:

"Local Area Connection - Network 4 - Intel(R) 82578DC Gigabit Network Connection"

Also, there is no WIFI icon in my systray.

How do I add a WIFI icon to the Network Connections page and to the systray?

My desktop computer is wired to a router for Internet connectivity, but the router has WIFI capability; I want to use it to access a Chromecast dongle on my TV. When I run the Chromecast app, it says "No big deal, but your WiFi is off".

My router is (AT&T) 2-Wire 3800HGV-B (the router sees a different wireless dongle on my TV, so I know WIFI is active).

OS: Windows 7 64-bit.

TY!
