SOLVED Mystery Drive

Using AOMEI Partition Assistant, I deleted a spare partition on my hard drive and merged it into C:. That change is reflected by Disk Manager and Windows Explorer. However, if I boot into Linux or from the GParted CD, the deleted partition still shows. I've tried defragging, scannow and chkdsk to no avail.

So there isn't an apparent problem so much as a curiosity...

That green sda7 bar is the partition that I got rid of in Windows, but not in Linux. I admit that I'm learning this as I trod along...
