Hey guys,

I was wondering if you could help me out, I keep getting a BSOD with Kernal data inpage error etc. etc. 000000000000007A and some other numbers every time I wake my computer from sleep.

I'm not sure what info I need to include but here's some rough specs:

i7-2600k
P8P67Pro
8GB GSkill DDR3 1300
ENGTX460
OCZ Vertex 4 128GB
3 X 500GB Seagate Barracuda
1 X 640 GB WD Green
W7 Ultimate

Side note, I sometimes get random freezes when running say VLC and youtube at the same time, cant remember the error message tho because that rarely goes to BSOD, most of the time it just freezes and I get a nasty buzzing from the speakers for 30sec or so and then stops.

Cheers,

You need to post your minidumps for the BSODs. See HERE.

Also, has the computer always been like this or did it work until recently?

Have you updated your drivers, especially your video driver? You might check your BIOS for sleep settings (ACPI, etc) and even see if there is a BIOS update.

hi,

I have just recently installed the vertex 4 ssd to replace my agility 3 which has improved the freezing and audio stutter problem but not eliminated it. My BIOS is up to date according to the asus website.

As to the minidump files, i have them zipped but idk how to post them on this forum, there seems to be no attach button and I cannot open the .dmp files in any windows text editor.

My video driver is nvidia 301.42 which is up to date.

Cheers,

Looking at the crash dump your BIOS is on 2302
BiosVersion = 2302
BiosReleaseDate = 02/16/2012
On the web site there is a version 3207
http://ca.asus.com/en/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8P67_PRO_REV_31/#download

Given the current history of SSD's I would suggest that you update the firmware on the SSD.

NOTE:*** Flashing the firmware on a SSD can wipe the drive. Make sure you have backed up your data first.
