Is Mcaffee still a thing for W7? Wasnt it hacked?

Hi there

One of my Acer laptops for crypto trading has W7 installed , and it has Mcaffee as Antivirus.

I stumbled upon an article on a website that says that the John Mcaffee account on Twitter was hacked and has posted yesterday a tweet.

Wtf, is it even an antivirus? Should I uninstall it anbd get an old Eset 4 or a Nod32 version? Thanks
