Is a second set of recovery discs necessary?

In an earlier post, I had to restore to the factory image to get my PC up and running again. Now, it's showing (in the Start menu) that I have the option to create a set of recovery discs. When I bought it, the program said that I would only be allowed to make one set of these discs. After completing the making of those discs, the option dropped from the menu. Since it's showing the option to make another set, should I do it, or will it be the same as the first set of them? The rest of my original "bloatware" was there as well.

It probably won't allow making a second set. If it does allow you to make the second set, they will be the same as the first set. You can click the link to see what it says. It will not do anything as long as there is no media in the DVD drive either way.

You were right, Clifford. The program would not allow me to create another set of discs. My intention was to have two copies, as there's no such thing as too many recovery tools and backups. However, I also did my backup again, and it went through without a problem, as it did before. I've came to the conclusion that the original install had some degree of file corruption, that's why I had backup problems and the download folder issue. They both are no longer issues, and now I'm glad that I got the opportunity to fix the problems. I see it as a learning experience, and now things should be right for a while. It is my hope that others will read this and the related posts, and learn from it as well.
