I have an old PC from the Windows XP era that's currently running Windows 7. I might be able to upgrade it to Windows 8 or 10 if I'm lucky. However, it doesn't have a built-in Wi-Fi card, only a dial-up modem, which I can't use. Ethernet is also not an option right now.
I tried connecting my Windows 11 PC to the old one via a USB-C to USB-A adapter, but neither of them recognizes the other. I just need internet access for a few minutes to activate some software. How can I achieve this?
