how to get my laptop back up and running i need some help.

i have a dell xps m1530 i have this error right here File\Windows\system32\drivers\NAV\1100000.088\SYMDS.SYS

status:0xc0000221

i would really appreciate it if someone can help me resolve this problem today.

Thats not an error, it's a file name.

It's quite possible you have a virus. That would be the first check. Boot to safe mode with no network support and run a complete virus scan. Even better would be to download TDSSKiller & RKill and run those in safe mode before you run the scan (Find links to those Virus removal tools in our Freeware DB near the bottom).
