Icons used to be easy to modify change in XP. All one had to do was right click on an con go to Windows:\Systedm32\ find Shell32.dll and choose an icon. How is changing an icon for a folder for example accomplished in Win7? I know icons are now in
C:\windows\system32\imageres.dll and C:\Windows\System32\shell32.dll. I got a shortcut to D: pinned on the taskbar and I want to change its icon.

When you right-click & then right-click again to bring up the properties, there is a chg icon button under the shortcut tab. chgicon.jpg

oh yeah you are right. Again. I guess I have to get accustomed to right clicking twice in Win7.
