I have just installed Windows 7 RC1 as dual boot with Vista. The thing is both os point to the same documents folder (e:\documents) Is this likely to cause any problems with permissions at a later date or will both systems be able to see the files.
Is there a safe way to point to the documents on a dual boot system?

Seeing is one thing, reading and writing another, have you tried opening and edditing and saving? you may need to take ownership if they are locked.
You could get an error message saying you don't have permission to open or access this file, if you do you will need to enable share in Vista as well.
Try it out if you have a problem opening or edditing, someone will set you right.
