Hello,

I recently purchased the parts for a computer (used for video editing) and had a friend assemble it. I have Windows 7 installed and it boots up normally. My issue comes after i'd say 10-15 minutes when it will randomly freeze. I'm not much of a computer wiz and am having trouble figuring out what my issue is. If anyone has any input I would really appreciate it, I will list my components below:

Intel Core i7 processor - Sandy Bridge LGA 1155 i7-2600
GEForce GDDR5 GTS 450 Video Card
Corsair DDR3 Memory (8GB)
Seagate Barracuda 1TB hard drive
GIGABYTE GA-H67A-UD3H-B3 LGA 1155 Intel H67 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

As I said, I'm not too knowledgeable about computer issues so any suggestions as far as troubleshooting would be very much appreciated.

To clarify, its not crashing and shutting off. We are very confident it isn't a hardware issue and it's not overheating. It will just freeze on the screen I am on and I am forced to manually cut power and restart.

Is this a fresh install of Windows 7? If so, try updating hardware drivers or install Service Pack 1 if you haven't done so yet.
