Compaq CQ57 laptop, Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
After I installed drivers for a Bluetooth dongle, the level of the audio in Stereo Mix Properties for recording (not for playback) began muting itself. If I go into Recording Devices and restore the level, it won't stay unmuted but after a few seconds, it will mute again. Strangely there are a lot of odd Microsoft Register Server sliders added to the Volume Mixer as the attached snip shows.
Any ideas?
