I replaced the drive in the Toshiba and it runs faster.
HD tune has a much better scan and my antivirus also scans faster.

You can use " -snip- " as I did above just for illustration to
help both you and the reader. Just don't snip the portion of the
post you are replying to. I did above only to illustrate the use of
"snip" but normally I wouldn't do this. In other words, just snip out
the irrelevant pieces. Sometimes when the original post is long and I
want to reply to several points made, I will break up the original
post as in paragraphs and reply under each paragraph usually with
spaces between the original post, my reply and the next original part
of the reply. Hope I haven't confused you.

Let me add that in some newsreaders, if you highlight part of a post
before clicking on Reply, only the highlighted part will be quoted in
the reply.

I sometimes use that to create confusing replies, but that's an
unintentional result of carelessness :)
