I had a thread open on

http://answers.microsoft.com/

and tried to reply without success. Now when I try to reopen the url I get a 404

Has anyone heard what is happening?

Try use a different browser and see what happens.

Thanks for checking. I kept trying and eventually I got connected. There must have been an issue of some kind. While I was getting 404s I tried logging into my MS account and the insisted on sending a code to my cell for me to enter even though my PW was correct. Their paranoia is infectious.

Well. That's because you're trying to login in some different location or by using different device.
This thing happens with me already when I've entered wrong password 2 time.

Worked first time for me. Make sure you are not having connectivity issues to the Internet, especially if you are going over WiFi
