Am in dire need of my Sound Driver

Hello people,
I reformatted with sysytem with the new windows 7 OS but my sound driver has refused to function properly..Pls .some1 shd come 2 my aid. Here are my details:

The specs you have listed tell us nothing regarding what type of sound chipset you have.

What is the make of your motherboard and the model?

Do you know what your sound chipset is?

That's what we need to know. If it is a computer made by a maker let us know the make and model of computer.

on d other hand.. d last info on d specs I listed has sometin like CHIPSET: INTEL 3580 REV 2 .. If dis is not what u mean, then pls. how do I chek mine?

What is your make of computer and model? Do you know that?

According to the date of your BIOS, you have an old motherboard, that's for sure.

Can you paste the Main Circuit Board & Multimedia details?

Arimotex, did you try Clifford's suggestion of using Windows Update to look for optional hardware drivers?

If not then try that. Only if that doesn't work then you should use the link he provided to download Vista drivers and hope those work, they may not.
